!±8± Turn your living room into a pirate ship with lights

For those of you who do not know where there is a reason to celebrate, act and talk like a pirate, September 19. If you have not guessed, International Talk like Pirate Day lands on that day! And for those of us not only a special day so we can go without throwing a special bash full of booty that even Davey Jones would be proud, do not be afraid! Even the driest Landlubber can do this, scurvy loving holiday has a party at home.

Stick toTheme of "piracy" is important when decorating for this type of party. As such, the lighting will play an important role in your institution. Think of old pirate ships, old haunts, where pirates and prostitutes have been found, bars and the like. Decorate the captain's cabin of an old pirate ship can be a good argument, in order to play. Vintage, traditional looking chandeliers and candelabras filled with precious stones are always ideal as lighting centerpieces for any room and evoke a certainAtmosphere pirate. Keep the lights dim your chandelier so you believe that your party, the mysterious, old ship. And for more kicks tie a rope from the chandelier and again at the end of a lever on the wall, do not attach the rope literally to the chandelier. The aim is to make it look like you could loosen the rope and swing when the chandelier falls.

If you're looking to have your house loading dock setting, add some torches on the walls of the corridors and aroundYour living room and garden. Applique with torch-style lamps will work well, especially if you are amber colored diffusers. Table lamps are also a great way to get that pirate feel, as long as you stay with vintage inspired lamps and silk shades. Other strong points for you if you can be a terribly designed lamp with the bones of the skeleton and skulls on the bottom and neck of the bulb!

Once the lights down, you're ready to install your fellow piratesRipe for a night long party full of booty and beer. Arrggghhh enjoy me matey!
